Information Technology Act 2000

India's IT Act 2000 (amended 2008) provides legal recognition to electronic signatures under Section 5. Section 3A further recognizes electronic signatures using reliable authentication methods such as OTP and Aadhaar eSign. The Indian Evidence Act Section 65B makes electronic records admissible in court when accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Wills and testamentary dispositions under Indian Succession Act 1925
